Phone Number Rental for Receiving SMS
SMS Virtual offers both one-time verification rentals and extended rentals for customers who need access to incoming messages for longer.
Standard and extended rentals
Standard rentals last 20 minutes. Extended rentals are offered for 1 day, 3 days, or 7 days when supported by the selected country, service, and operator.
Messages and number access
The number is assigned to your activation for the purchased period, and multiple incoming messages can be displayed while it remains active. Access ends when the rental expires or is finished.
Number reuse and reassignment
Do not rely on a temporary number for long-term account recovery. After expiry, access cannot be guaranteed and the number may later be reassigned.
Number type and compatibility
Inventory type varies by supplier. SMS Virtual does not label a number as SIM-based or VoIP unless that information is confirmed, and third-party acceptance is never guaranteed.
Cancellation conditions
A rental with no received SMS can be submitted for cancellation after two minutes. If the supplier approves it, the activation cost returns to your in-app balance.
