How private registration transfers work
The DVLA holds the register. Putting a private mark on your car means asking the DVLA to assign that entitlement to your vehicle — they check the mark's eligibility and your vehicle's details, take the £80 fee, and issue a replacement registration. When you buy through 2TX1, we prepare and submit all of that for you.
Putting your registration on a vehicle
